Hoya 1112 Review: Hoya 77mm RM-72 Infrared Filter. Ordered this 77 mm RM-72 filter (cutoff below 720 nm) to allow me to do digital IR photography without converting my DSLR camera. Most of my lenses have a 77 mm filter diameter, and smaller lens diameters can be easily used with this filter by adding a step-up ring. I recommend using this Hoya filter with an older DSLR camera which has a less rigid hot mirror filter cutting off IR wavelengths in front of the sensor.
